KNOXVILLE, TN. — NASCAR legend, Jeff Gordon, appeared as the keynote speaker Thursday night, July 11, at the annual induction dinner held at the Knoxville Convention Center. The event was a major fund-raiser for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley. Before speaking at the dinner, however, Gordon, 41 and visibly graying, was bombarded with questions from the media about his aging and driving performance.

BOSTON, Mass. — Can you believe this year’s Stanley Cups Finals? In another nail biter between the Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins, Brent Seabrook became the hero Wednesday night in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals, when he scored the winning goal in a much needed win. With a laser slapshot in overtime in one of the the wildest games of the series, the Blackhawks now go back to Chicago for Game 5 on Saturday, June 22, with the series tied 2-2. With the home advantage in Game 5, the momentum may now be with the Blackhawks.

Former Green Bay quarterback, Brett Favre, who appears to be back in favor with the Packers franchise, has predicted that current Green Bay Packer’s quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, will break all of his NFL records. In an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio on June 13, Favre spoke about his relationship with Rodgers, and told the interviewer he expects Rodgers, provided he remains healthy, to shatter all of his records with the exception of his consecutive games started streak that reached 298.
