Ronnie Lott Named Keynote Speaker at Fresno Business Forum

FRESNO, CA. — Successful entrepreneur and former San Francisco 49er’s defensive back, Ronnie Lott, is scheduled to appear as the keynote speaker at the 2013 Central Valley Venture Forum on October 29 at the Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship located at Fresno State University. Lott’s theme will be “Total Impact: Lessons from the Gridiron for Business.” The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00.

Herschel Walker Speaks to Wounded Warriors and Airmen at San Antonio Air Force Base

SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas — Former NFL running back and Heisman Trophy winner, Herschel Walker, visited Airmen and wounded warriors on October 23 at the Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center at the Joint Base San Antinio-Lackland, Texas (AFNS). Walker spoke to more than 200 Airmen about his life as a boy, leading up to his college and NFL days. He also discussed the challenges he faced with Dissociative Identity Disorder, or DID, more commonly known as multiple personality disorder. Donald Driver’s memoir, “Driven”

According to pre-sale orders, former Green Bay Packers wide receiver, Donald Driver’s memoir, “Driven: From Homeless to Hero, My Journeys On and Off Lambeau Field,” has already become a bestseller. Driver, a Super Bowl and ‘Dancing With The Stars’ champion, plans to promote and autograph his book with a series of scheduled book signings.

Driver’s next appearance is October 25, at the Barnes & Noble store located at 7433 Mineral Point Rd, in Madison, WI. The event begins at at 9 a.m and is free to the public. Fans will stand in line after be being given a number.

NFL Hall of Famer LeRoy Butler to Sign His New Book in Packers Pro Shop

GREEN BAY, WI. — Packers fans will have a chance to meet NFL Hall of Famer, LeRoy Butler, who is scheduled to host a book signing on Oct. 24 for his new book, “Packers Pride: Green Bay Greats Share their Favorite Memories.” The event will take place in the Packers Pro Shop located 1265 Lombardi Ave from 3:30 to 5 p.m.  The event is free and open to the public, however, Butler, will only be signing his new book. Fans can purchase the book at the Pro Shop  store or online. Co-author, Rob Reischel, will also join Butler for the signing. ASHLAND, KY. — Former Olympian and motivational speaker, Dominique Dawes, was the keynote speaker at the Young Women LEAD Conference held at Ashland Community and Technical College, on Wednesday, Oct. 16. The event was hosted by Toyota in partnership with SOAR, a leadership program for women. More than 500 high school juniors from nine eastern Kentucky school districts attended the event.

GLASSBORO, N.J. – Former NFL star and Christian speaker, Joe Klecko, had the honor of giving the keynote speech to a group of 50 men at the Catholic Men’s Conference, held on Sept. 14 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish, in Glassboro, N.J.
