Chauncey Billups Named Keynote Speaker at Denver Area Council Boy Scouts Sports Breakfast on April 14, 2015

DENVER, CO. — NBA All-Star Chauncey Billups has been named the keynote speaker for this year’s annual Denver Area Council Boy Scouts Sports Breakfast. The breakfast is set for Tuesday, April 14, at the Pepsi Center. In addition to having Chauncey Billups as the keynote speaker, the event will have other sports personalities, sport managers, administrators, coaches and athletes from surrounding professional and amateur teams also attend this special function. Former MLB Pitcher Jim Abbott Named Keynote Speaker at United Way of Genesee County Campaign Celebration

FLINT, MI — Former MLB pitcher, Jim Abbott, made a special appearance on Thursday, March 19, on behalf of his partnership with United Way to help promote the childhood literacy project. Abbott started the day around 9:30 a.m. at the General Motors Flint Assembly plant on Van Slyke Road where the GM Foundation presented a $70,000 check to the United Way to help its new early childhood literacy project, “A to Z Learn With Me.” On Thursday night, he was the keynote speaker for the United Way of Genesee County Campaign celebration.
