Former Harlem Globetrotter, Meadowlark Lemon, appeared on the Sean Hannity Show Tuesday night, April 29, along with SiriusXM college sports broadcaster, Tim Brando, to discuss Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s racist remarks and NBA commissioner Adam Silver’s swift decision to ban Sterling from the NBA for life along with a $2.5 million fine, the maximum fine allowed under the NBA constitution. All agreed the right decision was made.

ESPN has recently released their latest short film, from Matt Ogens, titled “From Harlem With Love,” as part of their 30 for 30 documentary short series. The film, “From Harlem With Love,” chronicles the journey of the legendary “Clown Prince of Basketball,” Meadowlark Lemon and the Harlem Globetrotters as they embark on a mission to Moscow to diffuse international hostilities with their signature brand of humor.
SAN ANTONIO, TX — San Antonio Spurs sharp shooting point guard, Danny Green, will join the Spartan Shooting Boot Camp on June 9-13, 2014, located at Castle Hills Baptist School in San Antonio, Texas. The camp is open to to all boys and girls of all skill levels from 3rd to 12th grade and will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Green also joined the Spartan Basketball Spring Break Camp that was held on March 11 – 15, 2013.

ORLANDO, FL — In celebration of “Legends Nights,” former Orlando Magic legend and seven-time NBA All-Star, Grant Hill, was honored by the Orlando Magic at the end of the first quarter during the March 25 matchup vs. the Portland Trail Blazers. The evening featured a center court presentation at the end of the first quarter. Hill joined FOX Sports Florida’s broadcasts including Magic Live pregame show with hosts Paul Kennedy and Nick Anderson and join broadcasters David Steele and Jeff Turner for a portion of the game broadcast.

CHICAGO, IL. — Former NBA legend and business entrepreneur, Earwin “Magic” Johnson, will be the keynote speaker at the 2014 National Restaurant Association’s annual trade show scheduled for this coming May. Johnson’s keynote address will be held at 2 p.m. in McCormick Place’s Grand Ballroom on May 18. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. The keynote address is open to all registered NRA Show 2014 attendees, exhibitors and media, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The annual National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show is the largest annual gathering of restaurant, food service and lodging professionals in the world.

INDIAN WELLS, CA. — Former NBA legend, Magic Johnson, has been named the keynote speaker at Desert Christian Academy’s 24th annual auction gala fundraiser to be held on March 29th at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort in Indian Wells, California. The benefit is the school’s primary fundraiser for the school of 500 students. Tickets to the event are $150 per person. The school’s annual auction gala is their primary fundraiser, and all proceeds from ticket sales will go to benefit the school’s 500 students.

WINNEPEG, Canada — Basketball legend, Magic Johnson, has been named the keynote speaker at the 42nd annual “Y” Sports Dinner to be held in Winnepeg, Canada. Johnson is scheduled to speak at the June 19 Convention Centre gala, which will raise money for scholarships and programs at the Rady JCC.
