Keyshawn Johnson Joins ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 17
Former Super Bowl and NFL wide receiver, Keyshawn Johnson, is one of 12 celebrity cast members who will appear on the upcoming 17th season of ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ The announcement of all 12 contestants came on Wednesday, September 4, on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
Johnson will be paired with professional dancer Sharna Burgess and if NFL past perfomances are a gauge, Johnson could be a favorite.
Professional athletes seem to always do well on the show and Johnson should be no exception.
Beginning on Monday, Sept. 16th, Johnson will be the only athlete to appear on the show. In past seasons, there were always several athletes as part of the cast, however, this season, Johnson is the only sports representative.

Tony Dorsett Discusses NFL Concussion Settlement
Former Dallas Cowboys running back, Tony Dorsett, spoke to reporters in a telephone conversation after news came on last Thursday, August 30, that a $765 million dollar settlement amount had been reached between the National Football League and former players in the concussion-effects lawsuit. Dorsett 59, is one of at least 300 former football players who sued the league, claiming the NFL pressured them to play with concussions and other injuries and then failed to help them pay for health care in retirement to deal with those injuries.
