During the first half of Monday night’s basketball game between the Orlando Magic and New Jersey Nets, Magic guard, Gilbert Arenas, makes a dramatic shot from 75 feet away beating the buzzer. The ball bounced off the front of the rim, hit the shot clock and fell through the basket right at at the buzzer. The refs, however, waved off the shot because the ball hit the shot clock which is considered out of bounds according to NBA rules.
Arenas argued with the refs that the ball didn’t hit the shot clock, but it is obvious that it did as one can easily see in the video. The Magic went on to win 104-88.
