KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It looks like Larry Johnson’s career as a Kansas City running back is over. The Kansas City Chiefs confirmed on Monday that they had cut Johnson on the day he was due to come back from his second suspension in a year.

On Oct. 25, Johnson posted on his Twitter account several insults to fans, questioned the credentials of his coach, Todd Haley and used a gay slur.
