Antoine Walker is a retired power forward who played professionally in the National Basketball Association from 1996-2008 with the Boston Celtics (1996-2003, 2005), Dallas Mavericks (2003-2004), Atlanta Hawks (2004-2005), Miami Heat (2005-2007) and Minnesota Timberwolves (2007-2008).

Walker was named to the NBA All-Rookie First-Team in 1997 after playing in all 82 games for Boston during his first season in the league, averaging 17.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per contest. He would go on to be named an NBA All-Star three times in 1998, 2002 and 2003.

The 2000-2001 season with the Celtics saw Walker set career-highs in points (23.4), assists (5.5) and steals (1.7) per game. In 2005-2006, Walker’s first season in Miami, he helped lead the team to its first ever championship as he played in all 82 games while contributing 12.2 points per game, including 13.3 per game in the playoffs. In 2010 he briefly joined the Mets de Guaynabo in Puerto Rico before wrapping up his successful playing career with the NBA D-League’s Idaho Stampede from 2010-2012.

Walker played college basketball at Kentucky and was part of the Wildcats team that won a national title in 1996. He was selected 6th overall by Boston in the 1st round of the 1996 NBA Draft. After his playing days, Walker worked in broadcasting for 120 Sports and the SEC Network.
