Clyde Drexler Booking Agent Details
Clyde Drexler is a Hall of Fame guard/forward who played in the NBA for the Portland Trail Blazers (1983-1995) and Houston Rockets (1995-1998). A 10-time All-Star, which included seven straight selections between 1988-1994, Drexler earned All-NBA First-Team honors in 1992 and was an All-NBA Second Team member in 1988 and 1991. For his career, he averaged 20.4 points per game.
Selected in the first round of the 1983 NBA Draft by Portland, Drexler played nearly 13 seasons with the Trail Blazers before being traded to Houston mid-season, where he helped the Rockets win their first- ever NBA Championship by averaging 21.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in the finals. Drexler played for Houston through 1998 before retiring.
Drexler won a gold medal with the U.S. “Dream Team” that dominated the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. He is a two-time inductee into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, in 2010 for his efforts with the “Dream Team” and in 2004 for his playing career.
Both Houston and Portland have retired his number, as has his alma mater, the University of Houston, where he was the cornerstone of the famed “Phi Slamma Jamma” era. He earned All-American honors as a senior in 1983 and helped lead the Cougars to back-to-back appearances in the Final Four. He was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006. After retiring from playing, Drexler served as a television analyst for Rockets home games.
