Cris Carter is a Hall of Fame wide receiver who played for the Philadelphia Eagles (1987-1989), Minnesota Vikings (1990-2001) and Miami Dolphins (2002). He was named to the Pro Bowl eight times and was a first-team All-Pro twice. As one of the most reliable wide receivers of his era, Carter led the NFL in touchdown catches three times in 1995, 1997 and 1999 and catches in 1994. For his career, Carter recorded 1,101 receptions for a total of 13,899 yards with 130 touchdowns. The Vikings retired his #80 jersey and inducted Carter into their Ring of Fame. He was named to the 1990s All-Decade Team and went into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013.

In 1987, Carter was picked by the Eagles in the 4th round of the NFL Draft out of Ohio State, where he became the first wideout in school history to be named a consensus All-American. He was named to the OSU Football All-Century Team and is a member of the school’s Varsity “O” Hall of Fame. After retiring from playing, Carter embarked on a successful broadcast career and has worked as an NFL analyst for FS1, ESPN and HBO. Away from football, Carter has been involved with numerous philanthropic causes. He is the founder and co-chair of Carter Brothers Charities and has been a mentor in President Obama’s program, “My Brother’s Keeper”. In 1999, he was named the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year.
