Dan Majerle Booking Agent Details
Dan Majerle is a former NBA player and current coach who played 14 seasons for the Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat. Majerle played collegiately at Central Michigan from 1984-88, earning three straight First Team All-MAC honors from 1986-88 before being selected as the 14th overall pick of the 1988 NBA Draft by Phoenix. Majerle played for the Suns until 1995 and was a three-time All Star for them in 1992, 1993 and his final season in Phoenix, while also earning two NBA All-Defensive Second Team honors in 1991 and 1993.
After playing in Cleveland from 1995-96, Majerle joined the Miami Heat from 1996-2001, helping the team make the playoffs in each of his years on the roster. He returned to Phoenix for the 2001-02 season, leading the Suns with successful 79 three-pointers before retiring in April 2002. Majerle averaged 11.4 points per game in his NBA career and his number has been retired by both Central Michigan and the Phoenix Suns.
After turning to broadcasting shortly after retirement, Majerle served as the Suns’ associate head coach from 2008-13 before accepting the head coaching job of the men’s basketball team at Grand Canyon University in its first season as a Division I team. Majerle is a member of both the Michigan and Arizona Sports Hall of Fame.
