Dennis Pitta is a retired NFL tight end who played his entire career from 2010-2016 with the Baltimore Ravens. In 2012-2013, Pitta won a championship ring with the Ravens following their 34-31 victory over San Francisco in Super Bowl XLVII, scoring a touchdown and catching four passes in the winning effort. For the season, he had 61 catches for 669 yards and a career-high seven touchdowns.

Hip injuries limited his playing time in 2013-2015, as he saw the field for just seven games after missing the entire 2015 NFL season, but in 2016, Pitta bounced back to lead the league in receptions by a tight end with 86, also a personal best, as were his 729 yards of receiving. That season saw him earn the honor of AFC Comeback Player of the Year.

A fourth round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft out of Brigham Young, Pitta earned three straight first-team All-Mountain West Conference honors from 2007-2009 and was a consensus All-American in 2009 as a senior. Pitta holds numerous school records at BYU, including career receptions, and sits in the top 10 for career receiving yards, receiving yards in a single season and career touchdown receptions. After retiring in 2017, Pitta worked as a radio color analyst for Ravens games.
