Jordy Nelson played for the Green Bay Packers from 2008 - 2017 and was a member of the Packers' Super Bowl XLV winning team. He was a 2014 Pro Bowl selection and was named 2016 NFL Comeback Player of the Year. He played in 136 regular season games with 88 starts during 10 seasons with the Packers. He ranks third in Packers history in receptions with 550, fifth in receiving yards with 7,848, third in the number of 100 yard receiving games with 25 and second in touchdown receptions with 69.

He is the only player in Packers history to record three seasons with 13+ touchdown receptions. Nelson recorded 13+ touchdown receptions and 1,25+ receiving yards in the same season on three different occasions, which is the 4th most in NFL history behind Hall of Famers Randy Moss, Jerry Rice and Terrell Owens. In 2018, Nelson played for the Oakland Raiders. He was born in Manhattan, KS, raised on a farm in Riley, KS, and played collegiately at nearby Kansas State University, where in 2007 he was named a consensus All-American. In 2015, Kansas State named its locker room the "Nelson Family Locker Room". He announced his retirement from football on March 27, 2019.
