DANDRIDGE, TN — Former Tennessee basketball coach, Bruce Pearl, was the keynote speaker at the annual Boys and Girls Club of Dumplin Valley’s Great Futures Barbeque Feast. Pearl spoke about the importance of youth programs like the Boys & Girls Club. At the end of the evening, guests were given an opportunity to make a financial contribution to further the cause and help the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dumplin Valley continue delivering the quality programs and valuable services for which they have come to be known.
The dinner was held Friday, November 1, at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 951 South Highway 92 in Dandridge. Seating began at 6:30 p.m. Guests enjoyed a complimentary, down home barbecue dinner, with all the fixings and live entertainment. After his speech, Pearl met with his fans, took pictures and signed autographs.
