GREEN BAY, WI. — Can former MVP, Aaron Rodgers, pull off a win in the upcomimg playoff game between the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings? We think he can.
For one, the Packers will return to Green Bay for the rematch after last Sunday’s road loss to the Minnesota Vikings where they haven’t lost back-to-back games since December 2010. However, Vikings running back, Adrian Peterson, will continue to be the Packer’s nemesis having run for 409 yards in two games against the Packers this season, with the two teams splitting those games.
This week’s playoff matchup in Lambeau Field is where Green Bay won 23-14 in Week 13, despite 210 yards on the ground from Peterson.
Also, Green Bay’s defense has given up less than 14 points per game recently, allowing an average of 99 ground yards over the last three games.
And let’s not forget that the Packers recently scored almost 35 points per weekend against Chicago, Detroit and Tennessee. Rodgers himself pointed out that the Packers had won nine of their next 10 games before Sunday, when they lost at Minnesota despite his his 365-yard, four-touchdown-pass, no-interception performance.
We’re all looking forward to another exciting game. The Aaron Rodgers vs. Adrian Peterson match up should make for another edge of you seat thriller.
