GENEVA, IL – Join Super Bowl XX Champion and Hall of Famer Dan Hampton at the Kane County Cougars vs Wisconsin Timber Rattlers minor league baseball game and autograph signing on Friday, June 16, 2017. Dan Hampton will make an appearance and sign autographs and meet with fans before the game starts and after the ceremonial first pitch at the ’85 Bears Night Celebration. Two autograph signing sessions are scheduled. The first one is from 5:30 p.m. to 6:10 p.m. when the gates open before the game starts and the second one is from 6:35 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. after the ceremonial first pitch. Both autograph signing locations are set for the center field deck but please note that the locations are subject to change. An admission ticket to the game is required to attend the autograph signing.
According to the Kane County Cougars article there will be a few limitations for autographs in order to accommodate as many people through the line as possible:
“There is a limit of two autographs per player and four autographs total. Fans will need to provide their own items to be autographed and no posed photographs will be allowed in order to accommodate as many people through the line as possible.”
Dan Hampton is a retired NFL defensive lineman who played his entire twelve season career for the Chicago Bears from 1979–1990. Hampton is a Super Bowl XX champion plus four-time Pro Bowl selection for 1980, 1982, 1984 and 1985. Hampton also is a four-time First-team All-Pro for 1982, 1984, 1986 and 1988 plus two-time Second-team All-Pro for 1980 and 1985. Hampton is the winner of the George S. Halas Courage Award for 1990 plus he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002.
