Did Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh intentionally step on Aaron Rodgers ankle? You be the judge, but it appeared to be no accident in my opinion when Suh stepped on Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers ankle after Rodgers was already on the ground in Sunday’s game against the Packers. The NFL as a consequence has suspended Suh without pay for the Detroit Lions’ wild card game this upcoming Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, per a report by ESPN’s Chris Mortensen. Source: SB Nation

According to SB Nation, during the second half of the NFC North-deciding game between the Lions and Packers, Rodgers took a hit after connecting with Jordy Nelson for a key first down. While on the ground, Suh stepped on Rodgers’ ankle with his right foot before stepping off and replacing it with his left. Suh then stood up as to apply the entire weight of his body onto the quarterback’s leg in what many believe was an intentional act.
The NFL stated that Suh was suspended “for a violation of safety-related playing rules,” per Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. Suh is expected to appeal the suspension on Tuesday.
Clearly intent to harm. He is the dirtiest of the dirty players in the NFL!
