Gymnast Gabby Douglas, who won two gold medals at the London 2012 Olympics, has agreed to an endorsement deal with McDonald’s. The deal will see the 17-year-old promote McDonald’s new Egg White Delight McMuffin, which is part of the chain’s healthier product offerings.

Douglas was in the news last year when US First Lady Michelle Obama teased the gymnast on NBC’s The Tonight Show after the she admitted eating a McDonald’s breakfast the morning after her Olympic success.
Douglas became the first African-American gymnast in Olympic history to be crowned the individual all-around champion and the first American gymnast to win gold in both the individual all-around and team competitions at the same Olympics. The Associated Press named her the Female Athlete of the Year in December of 2012. Douglas became the fourth gymnast to receive the honor.
