Jim Palmer will make an appearance from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. to meet and greet fans and sign autographs and memorabilia. Jim Palmer is a retired MLB pitcher who played for the Baltimore Orioles from 1965–1984. Palmer is a six-time All-Star for 1970–1972, 1975, 1977 and 1978 plus he is a three-time World Series champion for 1966, 1970 and 1983. Palmer is a three-time American League Cy Young Award winner for 1973, 1975 and 1976, plus four-time Gold Glove Award winner for 1976–1979. Palmer also is a three-time American League wins leader for 1975–1977 as well as two-time American League ERA leader for 1973 and 1975. Palmer pitched a no-hitter on August 13, 1969. His #22 was retired by the Baltimore Orioles in 1985. Jim Palmer was inducted into the Baltimore Orioles Hall of Fame in 1986 plus he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1990. After his career as a player, Jim Palmer became a sports broadcaster, lending his knowledge and experience to the game of baseball.
