Check out Sean Casey’s official website. Nicknamed “The Mayor,” Casey recently launched the Sean Casey Official Website where you can learn about his life and prestigious career as the former Major League Baseball first baseman who played for the Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Pirates, Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox. Sean continues to be one of the more popular speakers and sports figures sought after by businesses and organizations. He keeps active traveling the country and participating in autograph signings, church functions, personal appearances, media, corporate events, baseball banquets, charity softball games, speaking engagements and endorsements.
Casey has made sports news for his charitable work as much as his play on the field. He has been active in Big Brothers and Make-A-Wish Foundation, as well as the “Casey’s Crew” program, where he provided free high-priced tickets to disadvantaged youth. His charitable foundation, Casey’s Clubhouse, works to raise funds for the Pirates Charities Miracle League of the South Hills, carrying on the mission statement of all Miracle League fields: “Every Child Deserves A Chance to Play Baseball.” Casey credits his Christian upbringing, in Pittsburgh’s affluent Upper St. Clair suburb, for his generosity.
Sean is currently a broadcaster and commentator for the MLB Network
