Jamie McMurray is a stock car driver who competed on the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series from 2002-2019. During his career, he won 7 Cup Series races with 168 top 10 finishes and 11 poles and 8 Xfinity Series races with 70 top 10 finishes and 3 poles. He also won one race on the NASCSAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. Among his most notable wins included the Daytona 500 (2010), Brickyard 400 (2010) Sprint Showdown (2013), Sprint All-Star Race (2014) and Rolex 24 at Daytona (2015). McMurray is one of three people to have ever won both the Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400 in the same year. During his career, McMurray drove for Chip Ganassi Racing, Roush Fenway Racing and Spire Sports.

McMurray was born in Joplin, Missouri and raced go-karts and competed in kart racing before making the move to late-model stock cars. His first win on the Xfinity Series came in 2002 at the Aaron’s 312 and his first win on the Cup Series came in 2002 at the EA Sports 500. He was the 2003 Cup Series Rookie of the Year. Beginning in 2019, McMurray began working with Fox Sports as a color commentator on its NASCAR RaceDay and NASCAR Race Hub shows.
