Urban Meyer is considered one of the most successful college football coaches of all-time, winning three national titles, three Big Ten titles, two SEC titles and two Mountain West titles. He is one of three coaches (along with Nick Saban and Pop Warner) to win national titles at two different schools.
He most recently served as head coach at Ohio State from 2012-2018 where he compiled a 83-9 record. He led the Buckeyes to the National Championship in 2014 and Big Ten titles in 2014, 2017 and 2018. Prior to Ohio State, Meyer coached at the University of Florida from 2005-2010 and led the Gators to two National Championships in 2006 and 2008 and two SEC titles those same years. In six seasons in Gainesville, Meyer compiled a 65-15 record. Meyer also coached at Bowling Green from 2001-2002 and Utah from 2003-2004. While at Utah, he led the Utes to Mountain West titles in 2003 and 2004, including a spot in the 2004 Bowl Championship Series and subsequent win over Pittsburgh in the Fiesta Bowl, which resulted in a 12-0 season, the first undefeated season for the Utes since 1930.

Meyer was born in Toledo, Ohio and raised in Ashtabula, Ohio, where he graduated in 1982 from Saint John High School. He attended college at the University of Cincinnati where he played defensive back. Meyer later went on to earn a master’s degree from Ohio State.
