One of the most dominant linebackers in the NFL, Von Miller was selected by the Denver Broncos as the 2nd overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. He has three times earned first-team All-Pro honors, twice been named second-team All-Pro and eight times named to the Pro Bowl. Miller played a crucial role in the Broncos’ Super Bowl 50 win over the Carolina Panthers, 24-10, when he forced two fumbles and recorded 2.5 sacks in route to being named MVP of the game.

In his rookie year of 2011, Miller posted 64 tackles and 11.5 sacks with the Broncos, earning NFL Rookie of the Year honors that season from the Associated Press. The next season in 2012, he recorded 18.5 sacks, a Broncos franchise record, and was named that year’s Butkus Award winner as the top NFL linebacker. Miller was named a member of the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.

Miller was born on March 26, 1989 in Dallas, Texas and played collegiately at Texas A&M from 2007-2010. He won the Butkus Award in 2010 as the nation’s top linebacker in college and, in 2009 and 2010, he also received All-Big 12 and All-American honors. In 2012, Miller founded Von’s Vision, a charitable organization that has helped provide eyeglasses and examinations to children in the Denver area.
