Brian Westbrook is a retired running back who played in the National Football League for the Philadelphia Eagles (2002-2009) and San Francisco 49ers (2010). He was a two-time Pro Bowl selection in 2004 and 2007 and first-team All-Pro in 2007. He was named to the Eagles 75th Anniversary Team and is a member of the Eagles Hall of Fame.

Westbrook was selected by the Eagles out of Villanova in the 3rd round of the 2002 NFL Draft. During his time in college from 1997-2001, Westbrook set the NCAA Division I-AA record for all-purpose yards with 9,512. In total, he amassed 41 school records, 5 NCAA records and 13 Atlantic 10 Conference records. He is also the only football player in NCAA history to record 1,000 receiving yards and 1,000 rushing yards in a single season, a feat he accomplished in 1998.

Westbrook was a two-time Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year in 2000 and 2001 and won the Walter Payton Award in 2001 as the best football player in Division I-AA. In 2016, he was inducted into the Villanova Varsity Club Hall of Fame. After retiring from football, Westbrook has spent time as a broadcaster, including working for Comcast SportsNet.
