Fred Hoiberg Booking Agent Details
Fred Hoiberg is a former college and NBA basketball player and the current head coach of the University of Nebraska men’s basketball team. He attended Iowa State University from 1991-95 before being drafted in the second round of the 1995 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers, for whom he played until 1999. Hoiberg played the shooting guard position and saw his career reach a new level after signing as a free agent with the Chicago Bulls preceding the 1999-2000 season. The following year, he started in a career-high 37 games while also setting personal bests with 30.4 minutes and 9.1 points per game. Hoiberg stayed with Chicago through the 2002-03 season before playing the final two years of his career in Minnesota. His final professional season saw him lead the NBA with a .483 conversion rate from behind the three-point line.
In 2010, he was hired by his alma mater to be the head coach of the Cyclones men’s basketball team. In five seasons at Iowa State, Hoiberg posted a 115-56 overall record, while the Cyclones made the NCAA Tournament four of those years, advancing as far as the Sweet 16 in 2014. Hoiberg also served as the Chicago Bulls’ head coach from 2015-2019, but the Bulls never finished higher than fourth place in the Central Division before his dismissal in December of 2018. He was announced as the head coach at Nebraska on April 2, 2019.
