Gene Keady Booking Agent Details
Gene Keady coached the Purdue University men’s basketball team for 25 years from 1980-2005. The most successful head basketball coach in school history with 493 wins and the second-most successful all-time in the Big Ten (trailing only Bob Knight), Keady led the Boilmakers to six regular season Big Ten titles and 18 appearances in the NCAA Tournament, including appearances in five Sweet Sixteens and two Elite Eights. In 2013, Keady was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame.
Prior to coaching at Purdue Keady was head coach at Western Kentucky from 1978-1980 and served as an assistant coach for numerous schools, including Hutchison Junior College and the University of Arkansas. He got his start in coaching in 1959 at Beloit High School.

Keady grew upon in Larned, Kansas and attended Larned High School. He went to college at Garden City Junior College, where he played football and was named an All-American at quarterback, and Kansas State, where he lettered in football, track and baseball. He was picked in the 19th round by the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1958 draft.
