Kelly Clark is considered a trailblazer in the sport of half pipe snowboarding and with more than 70 career wins, she’s the most dominant snowboarder of all-time, male or female. Clark competed in five Olympics and won a gold medal in half pipe at the 2002 Winter Games and bronze medals at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Games. She also enjoyed great success at the Winter X Games, winning the most medals ever by a female, including seven gold medals, six silver medals and one bronze medal. Additionally, she won eight U.S. Open half pipe titles and 22 World Cup podiums, including 13 wins. Clark won an ESPY Award for Action Sports Athlete of the Year in 2002 and Best Female Action Sports Athlete in 2015. She retired from competitive snowboarding that same year.

Clark was born in Newport, Rhode Island. She began snowboarding at the age of 7 and trained at Mount Snow Academy in Vermont. She became a member of the U.S. Snowboard Team in 2000. Clark created the Kelly Clark Foundation, which provides opportunities and scholarships in the hopes of empowering youth through snowboarding. In 2017, Clark released a book titled “Inspired: Pursuit of Progress”. A devout Christian, Clark competed with the message on her snowboard, “Jesus, I cannot hide my love”.
