Brent Celek spent 11 seasons from 2007-2017 playing tight end for the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles. Celek was picked by the Eagles in the 2007 NFL Draft (5th round) and was a member of the 2017 Super Bowl LII-winning team that defeated the New Patriots, 41-33. In total for his career, Celek caught 398 passes for 4,998 yards and 31 touchdowns, including 19 catches during the 2008-2009 playoffs, which at the time was the third most ever in a postseason for a tight end. In 2009, Celek led the Eagles in receptions with 76 catches along with 971 yards and eight touchdowns in route to being named to USA Today’s All-Joe Team.

Born on January 25, 1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Celek attended La Salle High School, where he twice received first-team all-district honors. He went on to play college football at the University of Cincinnati, where he was a second-team All-Big East pick and team mvp. He won two bowl games - the Fort Worth Bowl and International Bowl. In four seasons with the Bearcats, Celek caught 91 passes and averaged 12.5 yards per catch. After retiring from playing, Celek in 2020 was hired by the Eagles to work in their football operations department.
