Mason Crosby is an NFL placekicker who has been one of the most consistent players at his position since joining the Green Bay Packers in 2007. From the point Crosby entered the league and continuing through the 2019-2020 season, he failed to miss a single game with the Packers.
In 2007, he led the NFL in scoring with 141 points, a career-high that he managed to tie in the 2013 season. In his NFL career, he has a career field goal percentage north of 80% and has converted 98% of attempted extra point kicks. In recognition of his play, Crosby is a four-time NFC Special Teams Player of the Week and one-time NFC Special Teams Player of the Month. Crosby won a ring with the Packers when they defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV, 31-25. In that game, he made four extra point attempts as well as a 23-yard field goal.
Crosby was selected by the Packers in the 6th round of the 2007 draft out of the University of Colorado, where he enjoyed a successful college career and was a two-time first-team All-American in 2005 and 2006. Crosby was also named first-team All-Big 12 in consecutive seasons from 2004-2006, taking home the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year honor in 2005.
