AJ Hawk is a retired NFL linebacker who played for 11 seasons from 2006-2016, mostly with the Green Bay Packers. Hawk won a championship ring with Green Bay in 2010 after it defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV, 31-25. He tallied five tackles in the game. While in Green Bay from 2006-2014, Hawk missed a total of two games, registering at least 84 tackles in each of his campaigns there and amassing 100-plus tackles five times. During his rookie campaign in 2006, Hawk made 119 tackles, which led the Packers, and 3.5 sacks, eventually coming in third place for that year’s AP Defensive Rookie of the Year award.

Hawk played in 16 games for Cincinnati in 2015 before briefly signing with the Atlanta Falcons in 2016. He retired in early 2017 having recorded 947 career tackles. He played collegiately at Ohio State, where he helped the Buckeyes win a BCS National Championship in 2002. While at OSU, Hawk was a unanimous All-American in 2004 and 2005. Also in 2005 he won the Jack Lambert Trophy and Lombardi Award. At the end of his senior season, he was named co-MVP of the Fiesta Bowl as OSU defeated Notre Dame, 34-20 before being selected as the fifth overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft by the Packers.
