Los Angeles Dodgers Booking Details
The Los Angeles Dodgers compete in Major League Baseball’s National League West division along with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants. The Dodgers were founded in 1883 in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Los Angeles in 1958. They’ve won six World Series and 23 National League pennants, including five titles and 11 pennants since moving to California. The Dodgers have played at Dodger Stadium since 1962 and, prior to that, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
The Dodgers have produced many memorable moments, from Fernandomania to the injured Kirk Gibson coming off the bench with two outs in the bottom of the 9th inning in game 1 of the 1988 World Series and hitting a walk-off home run off Hall of Fame pitcher Dennis Eckersley of the Oakland A’s. Among the Dodgers greatest players include Jackie Robinson, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, Don Sutton, Don Drysdale, Maury Wills, Sandy Koufax, Orel Hershiser, Fernando Valenzuela, Steve Garvey and Mike Piazza. They’ve also been managed by such coaching greats as Walton Alston, Tommy Lasorda and Joe Torre.
