Atlanta Braves Booking Details
The Atlanta Braves compete in Major League Baseball’s National League East division along with the Washington Nationals, New York Mets, Miami Marlins and Philadelphia Phillies. The Braves have played their home games at SunTrust Field since 2017. Prior to that, they played at Turner Field from 1997-2016 and Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium from 1966-1996. The Braves began play in Atlanta in 1966 after relocating from Milwaukee, where they played from 1953-1965 and before that, Boston. Hall of Famer Eddie Mathews is the only player to have played for the Braves in all three cities.
Between 1991-2005, the Braves were one of the most dominating teams in baseball, winning the National League East 14 consecutive years behind one of the greatest starting rotations in MLB history that featured future Hall of Famers John Smoltz, Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine. During that period, the Braves played in five World Series, winning once in 1995 against the Cleveland Indians. Among the Braves greatest players include Smolt, Maddux, Glavine, Hank Aaron, Chipper Jones, Phil Niekro, Dale Murphy, Andruw Jones, David Justice, Brian McCann and Ron Gant.
