The Cleveland Browns play in the National Football League’s AFC North division along with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens. The Browns have played their home games at FirstEnergy Stadium since 1999. Prior to that, they played at Cleveland Stadium from 1946-1995. The Browns were founded as a charter member of the All-American Football Conference (AAFC) by Arthur McBride and Paul Brown in 1945. In the first four seasons, the Browns dominated the league by winning the title each year with an overall record of 47-4-3. The Browns joined the NFL in 1949 after the AAFC went under. The Browns won the league championship in 1950, 1954, 1955 and 1964.
