Chicago Cubs Booking Details
The Chicago Cubs compete in Major League Baseball’s National League Central division along with the St. Louis Cardinals, Milwaukee Brewers, Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates. The Cubs, first named the White Stockings, were a founding member of the National League in 1876. They were renamed the Cubs in 1903.
The Cubs have appeared in 11 World Series. The 108 years between their two previous World Series wins - the latest in 2016 and before that in 1908 – was the longest such drought in all major American professional sports (NFL, NHL, MLB & NBA). The Cubs have played their home games since 1916 at Wrigley Field (also known as “The Friendly Confines”), one of the smallest and most iconic venues in all of sports. Among the Cubs greatest players include Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, Fergie Jenkins, Ryne Sandberg, Billy Williams, Rick Sutcliffe, Mark Grace, Bruce Sutter, Andre Dawson, Greg Maddux, Anthony Rizzo, Lee Smith and Sammy Sosa. They have been managed by the likes of Don Zimmer, Jim Riggleman, Dusty Baker, Lou Piniella and Joe Maddon.
