New Orleans Saints Booking Details
The New Orleans Saints play in the National Football League’s NFC South division along with the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Saints began play in 1967 as the league’s 16th franchise and were named after the famous jazz song “When The Saints Go Marching In”. They have played their home games at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome from 1975-2004 and 2006-present. Prior to that, the Saints spent their first season playing at Tulane Stadium.
The Saints have won one Super Bowl (XLIV) when they defeated the Indianapolis Colts, 31-17, on February 7, 2010. The head coach was Sean Payton and MVP was Drew Brees, who tied a Super Bowl record when he completed 32 of 39 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns.
