Dan Dierdorf is a retired NFL offensive lineman who became a sports broadcaster after his playing days. Dierdorf played his entire 13-year NFL career for the St. Louis Cardinals (now the Arizona Cardinals). During his NFL career, he was a six-time Pro Bowler (1974-1978, 1980) and five times earned first-team All-Pro honors (1975-1978, 1980). Dierdorf is a member of the Arizona Cardinals Ring of Honor and was also named to the NFL 1970s All-Decade Team. In 1996, he was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

In 2000, Dierdorf was named to the College Football Hall of Fame, recognizing his four-year career at the University of Michigan from 1967-1970, where he was an All-American in 1969 and 1970. In 1996, he became a member of the school’s Athletic Hall of Honor.

After retiring from the NFL, Dierdorf went into sports broadcasting, working for ABC from 1987-1999 as a color analyst on Monday Night Football games. From 1999-2013, he was a broadcaster for CBS and since 2014, he has handled radio broadcasting duties for the Wolverines. Along with his NFL accolades, Dierdorf in 2008 won the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, celebrating his contributions to football broadcasting.
