Chip Kelly is the current head football coach at UCLA, a position he has held since 2018. He previously served in the same capacity for the Oregon Ducks from 2009-2012, where he led them to three straight Pac-12 championships and two Pac-12 North titles (he also served as the Ducks offensive coordinator in 2007-2008). Kelly’s leadership while at Oregon earned him in 2010 the Associated Press, Eddie Robinson, Walter Camp, Sporting News and AFCA Coach of the Year awards. He also won Pac-12 Coach of the Year honors in back-to-back years in 2009 and 2010.

Prior to coaching at Oregon, Kelly coached the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles from 2013 - 2015, where he won an NFC East title in his first year and was named the NFL Coach of the Year by the Maxwell Club. He also led the San Francisco 49ers for a season in 2016 before returning to the college ranks and accepting the position at UCLA. From 1997-2006, he coached at New Hampshire, his alma mater for whom he played defensive back from 1981-1984. Kelly’s start in coaching came in 1988 at the University of Nevada as a conditioning coach. He also coached at Columbia and Johns Hopkins. Kelly was born on November 25, 1963 in Dover, New Hampshire.
