Eddie Lacy is a former NFL and college football running back, who, after a decorated career at the University of Alabama, played for the Green Bay Packers (2013-2016) and Seattle Seahawks (2017). Lacy enjoyed immediate success upon joining the Packers as he rushed for 1,178 yards as a rookie in 2013, scoring 11 touchdowns. For his efforts, he was named to the Pro Bowl and earned second-team All-Pro honors. Similarly, the Pro Football Writers of America named him to its All-Rookie Team. Lacy also won NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors for his performance. In 2014, Lacy once again eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark on the year, rushing for 1,139 yards and averaging 4.6 yards per carry.

Lacy enjoyed a highly successful collegiate career at Alabama, winning BCS National Championships with the Crimson Tide in 2009, 2011 and 2012. Lacy was also a two-time SEC champion (2009, 2012) during his time in Tuscaloosa. In 2012, Lacy rushed the ball 204 times for 1,322 yards and 17 scores, earning first-team All-SEC honors and helping Alabama to a 14-1 record and No. 1 overall ranking by year’s end. In the Crimson Tide’s 42-14 win over Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship, Lacy rushed for two touchdowns and was named the game’s MVP.
