Thurman Thomas is a former running back in the NFL who spent most of his career with the Buffalo Bills from 1988-99 before finishing his career with the Miami Dolphins in 2000. He was an important part of the Bills' dominance in the early 90's that lead to four consecutive AFC Championships and subsequent Super Bowl berths. Thomas was a five-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time first-team All-Pro. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007. Thomas was born in Houston, Texas and attended Willowridge High School. He played collegiately at Oklahoma State University, where he was a teammate of Barry Sanders.
