Abby Wambach is an American former professional soccer player who is the all-time leading scorer for the United States Women’s National Soccer Team, for whom she played from 2003-2015. Wambach played college soccer at Florida before turning pro. Her goal versus Brazil during the 2004 Summer Olympics finals in the 112th minute gave the U.S. a 2-1 victory and the gold.
