Aqib Talib is a former NFL cornerback who played from 2008-2019 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2008-2012), New England Patriots (2012-2013), Denver Broncos (2014-2017), L.A. Rams (2018-2019) and Miami Dolphins (2019).Talib was named to five consecutive Pro Bowls between 2013 and 2017, earning first-team All-Pro honors in 2016 and second-team All-Pro accolades for the 2013 season. In his career, he posted 467 tackles, 125 pass deflections, 35 interceptions and 10 touchdowns. He was a key member of the Peyton Manning-led Denver team that won Super Bowl 50.
Talib’s ability to pick off opposing quarterbacks quickly helped him emerge as a top defensive threat early in his NFL career. He had a career-high six interceptions in 2010 with Tampa Bay despite playing in only 11 games. Talib made an immediate impact in the defensive backfield upon joining the Broncos in 2014. That season, he set a career-high in tackles with 67 while recording four interceptions and scoring a pair of touchdowns. Denver advanced to Super Bowl XVIII but lost to the Seattle Seahawks. Two seasons later, Talib earned his ring when the Broncos beat Carolina in Super Bowl 50. Collegiately, Talib played at Kansas, where he earned first-team All-Big 12 honors in 2006 and 2007.After retiring, Talib has worked as a football analyst for FOX Sports.
