Brian Scalabrine played forward in the National Basketball Association for the New Jersey Nets (2001-2005), Boston Celtics (2005-2010) and Chicago Bulls (2010-2012). He also played for Benetton Treviso in Italy in 2011 during the NBA lockout. Scalabrine played in back-to-back NBA finals during his first two seasons with the Nets and won an NBA title with the Celtics in 2008.

Scalabrine was born in Long Beach, California on March 18, 1978. He went to high school at Enumclaw High School in Washington state before spending two years at Highline College. He then transferred to the University of Southern California for his final two years. In his first year with the Trojans in 1999, he was named the Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year along with earning honorable mention All-Pac-10 honors. In his second year, Scalabrine was named first-team All-Pac-10 and honorable mention All-American by the Sporting News. He led the team in scoring both seasons and was drafted by the Nets in the 2nd round of the 2001 NBA draft.

After his playing career ended, Scalabrine served as an assistant coach from 2013-2014 with the Golden State Warriors before working as a tv analyst for Celtics games and co-hosting a radio show on SiriusXM NBA Radio.
