Corey Crawford has played goalie for the Chicago Blackhawks since 2006. He is a two-time All-Star and helped the Blackhawks to Stanley Cup titles in 2013 and 2015. For the 2012-2013 and 2014-2015 seasons, he was awarded the William M. Jennings Trophy for allowing the fewest goals during the regular season. Crawford was born on December 31, 1984 in Chateauguay, Quebec, Canada. He played junior hockey for the Quebec Junior Hockey League’s Moncton Wildcats. He was selected by the Blackhawks in the 2003 NHL Draft with the 52nd pick and made his NHL debut on January 22, 2006.

Although he did spend a limited amount of time with the Blackhawks over the next couple seasons, Crawford spent the majority of his time playing for the Rockford IceHogs, the Blackhawk’s minor league affiliate in the American Hockey League. He got his first NHL win and shutout against Anaheim on March 5, 2008 but didn’t take over the starting duties until the 2010-2011 season when he recorded 33 wins over the course of 57 games and was named to the NHL’s All-Rookie Team. Internationally, Crawford played for Team Canada when it won the 2016 World Cup of Hockey, beating Team Europe in the finals.
