Deion Branch is a former NFL wide receiver who played in the National Football League from 2002-2012 for the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. Branch won Super Bowls XXXVIII and XXXIX with New England, taking home Super Bowl XXXIX MVP honors in 2005 for his 11-catch, 133-yard performance. He became the first wideout to win the MVP award since Jerry Rice was the recipient in 1989.

Branch played collegiately at Louisville, where he was twice named first-team All-Conference USA and was a second-team All-American selection in 1998. Branch was a second round pick in the 2002 NFL Draft by the Patriots and played in New England through 2005. From 2006-2010, he joined the Seahawks before being traded back to New England, where in 2010 he recorded his best season in five years, catching 62 passes for 818 yards and a career-high six touchdowns.

He finished his career with the Patriots in 2012 (he was briefly with the Indianapolis Colts in 2013 before retiring). During his career, Branch recorded 883 passes for 6,644 yards and scored 39 touchdowns. In 2016, ESPN ranked Branch 30th among the 50 greatest Super Bowl players of all time. He operates a charitable organization, the Deion Branch Foundation, in honor of his son Deiondre.
