Jim Mora Booking Agent Details
Jim Mora is a retired football coach who is best remembered for his time leading the New Orleans Saints from 1986-1996. Mora spent 11 seasons in New Orleans and led the franchise to the postseason four times along with its first-ever winning season with a 12-3 regular season record in 1987. For his efforts that season, Mora was named NFL Coach of the Year. During his tenure in New Orleans, Mora compiled a 93-74 record. In 2002, he became a member of the Saints Hall of Fame.
In 1998, Mora was named head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, where he twice led the Colts to the postseason and went 32-32 over four seasons. After he was done coaching the Colts, Mora worked as a broadcaster for the NFL Network, Fox Sports Radio and WWL-TV in New Orleans.
Mora got his start in coaching when he was hired by Occidental College as an assistant coach in 1961. He would later serve as head coach at Occidental from 1964-1966 before working from 1967-1982 as an assistant coach at numerous colleges and for several NFL teams, including Stanford, University of Colorado, UCLA, University of Washington, Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots. He once again became a head coach when he spent three years at the helm of the USFL’s Philadelphia/Baltimore Stars. Mora enjoyed great success in the USFL, leading the Stars to three straight title games - winning two of them – and recorded an overall record of 48-13-1 for a .782 winning percentage.
