Joey Harrington is a former NFL quarterback who played from 2002-2008 with the Detroit Lions (2002-2005), Miami Dolphins (2006), Atlanta Falcons (2007) and New Orleans Saints (2008). A first-round pick (3rd overall) by Detroit in 2002, Harrington’s career-year in the NFL came in 2004 when he started all 16 games for Detroit and threw for 3,047 yards with 19 touchdowns, both of which were career-bests.

Harrington enjoyed a stellar college career at Oregon from 1998-2001, where he was the Ducks’ starting quarterback for three seasons. As a junior in 2000, he threw for 2,967 yards and 22 touchdowns while rushing for an additional seven touchdowns. In 2001, Harrington’s senior season, he earned Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year honors and was a Heisman Trophy finalist thanks to his 2,764 yards through the air and 27 touchdown passes.

Off the field, he founded the Harrington Family Foundation in 2003, a nonprofit that supports youth education. Harrington is also a jazz pianist who has performed with the likes of Blues Traveler, Jason Mraz and Third Eye Blind. After his playing days ended, Harrington worked as a college football and NFL analyst for Fox Sports Radio, a college football analyst for Fox College Football and a football analyst for Ducks games on the Oregon Sports Network.
