Evans additionally serves as co-chaplain for the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and chaplain for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. A graduate of the Dallas Theological Seminary with a masters in Christian Leadership, Evans is a sought-after speaker at men’s events, conferences, churches, youth events, banquets and FCA functions and is committed to the development of the next generation of Christian leaders. In 2017, Evans released a spoken word album titled “J-Walk” that served as an accompaniment to his father’s “Kingdom Man” bestselling book. Evans and his wife Kanika live in Dallas and are the parents of five children – Jade Wynter, Jonathan II, Kamden, Kelsey and Kylar.
