Chad Hennings played for the Dallas Cowboys as a defensive tackle from 1992-2000 and won three Super Bowls (XXVII, XXVIII and XXX). Hennings was picked by the Cowboys in the 11th round of the 1988 draft out of Air Force. In total for his career, Hennings recorded 27.5 sacks over the course of 199 games played.

While at Air Force, Hennings enjoyed one of the most celebrated football careers in school history. He was twice named All-WAC and three-times named Academic All-WAC. In 1987, Hennings was the Defensive Player of the Year in the WAC, UPI Lineman of the Year, a first-team All-American and won the Outland Trophy as college football’s top lineman. Hennings was the recipient of the NCAA Silver Anniversary Award and, in 2006, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

After graduating and before playing for the Cowboys, Hennings was assigned to the 92d Tactical Fighter Squadron and deployed two times to the Persian Gulf, flying a total of 45 missions as part of Operation Provide Comfort. For his service, Hennings received the Air Force Achievement Medal and Outstanding Unit Award. Hennings has became a popular motivational speaker and authored a book titled “Rules of Engagement: Finding Faith and Purpose in a Disconnected World”.
