Lee Corso Booking Agent Details
One of the most beloved sportscasters associated with college football, Lee Corso has been a popular member of the ESPN Emmy Award-Winning “College GameDay” broadcast team since joining the network in 1987, working alongside Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack. The show airs each Saturday during college football season and is punctuated by Corso’s entertaining analysis and game-day predictions.
Prior to joining ESPN, Corso was head football coach at Louisville from 1969-1972 and the University of Indiana from 1973-1982. Louisville under Corso’s leadership went 28-11-3 and posted a 13-6 mark within the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC.) The Cardinals won two MVC titles with Corso at the helm in 1970 and 1972, while in the latter year, Louisville posted a 9-1 record and finished the season ranked 18th nationally. Corso’s best season leading the Hoosiers came in 1979 when Indiana went 8-4 and finished the season ranked 19th nationally after winning the Holiday Bowl. Corso also served as head coach for one season in 1984 at Northern Illinois and in 1985 for the Orlando Renegades of the USFL. Corso started his career in coaching in 1958 as an assistant, first at his alma mater Florida State, and later at Maryland and Navy.
Corso has received numerous awards and accolades during his career, including the Contributions to College Football Award presented by the National College Football Awards Association and Ronald Reagan Media Award presented by the US Sports Academy. He also was honored with the Jake Wade Award, Liberty Bowl Distinguished Citizen Award and Lifetime Achievement Award given by the Over The Mountain Touchdown Club. Away from football, Corso has served as the honorary chairman for Coaches Curing Kids Cancer.
