Mario Cristobal Booking Agent Details
Mario Cristobal was named the head football coach of the University of Miami on December 6, 2021. Previously, he served as head coach at the University of Oregon, where in his first full year in 2018, the Ducks went 9-4 with a win in the Redbox Bowl. In 2019, Cristobal led the Ducks to a regular season mark of 10-2 record, winning the Pac-12 North Division and ultimately the conference championship. The No. 6 Ducks represented the conference in the Rose Bowl and defeated No. 8 Wisconsin, 28-27, finishing the year with a 12-2 record and earning Cristobal Pac-12 Coach of the Year honors from the Associated Press.
Prior to moving to Eugene, Cristobal was head coach at Florida International University from 2007-2012. In 2010, he led the Panthers to a Sun Belt Conference title and victory in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl. He also worked as the recruiting coordinator at Alabama (2013-2016) and as an assistant coach at the University of Miami (1998-2000, 2004-2006) and Rutgers (2001-2003). Born on September 24, 1970 in Miami, Florida, Cristobal stayed local to play offensive tackle for the Hurricanes from 1988-1992. He was part of two national championship team in 1989 and 1991 and was a First-Team All-Big East Conference selection in 1992. After college, he signed with the Denver Broncos as a free agent in 1994 and played in NFL Europe for the Amsterdam Admirals in 1995-1996.
